Teaching with Objects

MIRL facilitates access to objects from two UCSB museum collections for course and research use, and maintains its own hands-on teaching collection for object handling, haptic learning, and 3D scanning.

Borrow from UCSB Museum Collections

Browse the collections below, then email mirl@arthistory.ucsb.edu to arrange a loan through MIRL. Please write at least four weeks before the quarter begins, so there is time to arrange the loan.
