CFP submissions due by October 14, 2024.
All UCSB geospatial community members are invited to participate in the UC-wide GIS Week November 19th – 21st, 2024. We will celebrate all things mapping and geospatial. If you are a researcher, student, alumnus, or community mapper, there is space for you to share your accomplishments and inspire others through your mapping and spatial analysis.
We invite submissions that aren’t a finished product; they can be a work in progress or even a conceptual idea you are looking to get feedback on. This year’s UC GIS programming will be held virtually, with some campuses hosting in-person events. If you are a campus group looking to host an in-person event, please reach out to ucgisweek@gmail.com.
This year we are looking for submission for the following:
- virtual lightning talks (8 minutes)
- virtual presentations (15 minutes)
- virtual workshop (20-30 minutes)
- maps and posters for display in the virtual gallery
