Submission Deadline: March 15, 2023
The Visual Science of Art Conference (VSAC) 2023 invites all people who connect visual perception and the arts (e.g. empirical, experimental, philosophical, phenomenological, computational approaches) and is an ideal venue to debate and collaborate on all topics associated with the perception and evaluation of artworks. You may submit only one presentation/conversation/artwork as first/presenting author, but you can co-author as many as you wish.
Submission Types:
- Presentations: VSAC attendees may submit presentations as a Talk or Poster. To submit a presentation, please provide a title, 300-word abstract, affiliation, and keywords, as well as your preferred presentation format.
- Conversations: Conversations between artists and scientists deserve a special place in VSAC’s program. Conversations typically report collaborative research; but you could also see this as a mini symposium with two speakers. If you would like to submit a conversation, but the 300-word abstract is too limited, you can use the supplementary file upload to write more.
- Artwork/Demos: To submit an artwork/demo, please provide a title, 300-word abstract, and keywords. You may use the supplemental materials to give more specifics about your artwork/demo, including images/movies if you like.
