Try out a demo via the Rijksmuseum, who has put over 400,000 of their works as hi-res images in the public domain; Polygrid has captured more than 200,000 of them from the Dutch Rijksmuseum Open Data Collection and arranged them in a grid with 6 layers. Choose a thumbnail to see a larger image then, while it is still highlighted, begin to zoom in with the feature in the lower left corner to hone in on other items related to that image (subject matter, work type, materials, etc.).
