The MAK Center for Art and Architecture, Los Angeles, will celebrate its 20th year by offering a tour of a number of exemplary private houses by R.M. Schindler. The programming opens with a wine reception and talk with Judith Sheine (Professor of Architectural History at the University of Oregon) at Schindler’s How House in Silver Lake on Saturday, May 17, 5:00-7:00pm.
On Sunday, May 18, there will be an Architecture Tour that includes the following houses:
- How House (1925)
- Elliot House (1930)
- Bubeshko Apartments (1938/1941)
- Wilson House (1938)
- Falk Apartments, penthouse (1939)
- Droste House (1940)
