Ever busy ARTstor has announced these new additions to their Digital Library:
- Dov Friedman: America and European Architecture: approximately 560 new photographs of historic and contemporary architecture in San Francisco, Washington DC and New York (38% of projected 1,500 total images completed; keyword search: dovfriedman)
- Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) Visual Resources Collection: an additional 695 images depicting various works of art and architecture (100% of 1,174 images complete; keyword search: mcad collection)
- Bryn Mawr College: 1,569 more images of plans, elevations and sections of ancient and medieval archaeological sites and architectural monuments (54% of projected 8,000 total images completed; keyword search: plans bryn mawr)
They’ve also negotiated quite a number of agreements that will add these images in coming months (all counts are approximate):
- Occidental College, Robert Winters archives: 2,500 images of California architecture
- The Rogovin Collection: 300 images of Milton Rogovin’s social documentary photography
- School of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Dalhousie University: 250 images of architecture by Le Corbusier in France
- Saint Louis Art Museum: 1,700 images of works from its permanent collection
