It is with great pleasure that we unveil the first hosted collection in MDID, the Richard Ross collection. This is set up as a separate collection within our VRC image database, and so far contains the photographs from three of Ross’ publications: Museology (1989), Gathering Light (2000), and Architecture of Authority (2007). Select Browse to look at the contents of any one of the books.
Coming soon are the images from three more Ross publications: Man Up, Waiting for the End of the Word, and Suitable Placement. We hope this will be the first of several image collection hosting partnerships we form here at the Visual Resources Collection.
Richard will be discussing his work at the first Art Studio Colloquium on Tuesday, September 29 at 5pm, Broida Hall, Room 1610 – all are welcome to attend.
