Please join us for a special symposium to mark the official inauguration of the Center for Latin American and Iberian Research, next Friday, May 15th, at 1 pm, in the McCune Room (HSSB 6020).
We will gather to hear about the research and activities of the CLAIR Labs, followed by a keynote address by documentary maker Anne Fischel, and a screening of her 1977 film Misa Colombiana. The symposium will conclude with a roundtable with Charles Hale (Dean of Social Sciences) and Prof. Cristina Venegas (Film and Media), and a reception.
